Well, as promised, here is a lot of information about my personal favorite, the Arabians!
1. The most common colour of Arabian is Bay. You will also see many Chestnuts, Greys, Blacks, and Roans.
Just look at the distinct shape! This is my dream horse, but Black.
2. The Arabian Breed is over 5,000 years old and is known as the oldest and the first domesticated breed of horse.
Huh. First Domesticated Breed. Surprise, Surprise! Arabians are very hotblooded animals, and have a tenancy to misbehave.
3. All Arabians have Black Skin under their coat, except any white hair. When these horses lived in the desert, the Black Skin would help protect them from the hot sun.
Yes! Finally, an excuse to let me put a Black Arabian there!
4. The skeleton of a pure Arabian is different from that of other horse breeds. An Arabian has 17 pairs Ribs, instead of 18 and 5 vertebrae instead of six.
Personally, I don't see much difference from the Skeleton I posted earlier.
Okay, Finished! Next time, be prepared for the adorable Shetland!
Sincerely,
Miss Pony
